IDProtect® is an identity theft monitoring and resolution service1 that protects you, your joint account holders, and eligible family members from any identity fraud event anywhere in the world. It includes the following benefits:

  • Identity Theft Expense Reimbursement1 : Receive up to $10,000 to help cover expenses associated with restoring your identity, such as attorney fees, loan application fees, long-distance calls, medical records costs, travel and accommodations, lost wages for time taken off work, and more.
  • Credit File Monitoring1 : Receive daily credit file monitoring and automated alerts of key changes to your Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion credit reports.
  • Credit Report and Score: Gain access to credit reports and credit scores. Credit Score is a VantageScore 3.0 based on single credit bureau data. Third parties may use a different type of credit score to assess your creditworthiness.
  • Debit and Credit Card Registration: Register your credit, debit, and ATM cards and enjoy peace of mind knowing you can call one toll-free number to cancel and/or request replacement cards if your cards become lost or stolen.
  • Identity Monitoring: Benefit from monitoring of more than 1,000 databases and public records to identify suspicious activity. A risk rating is generated with each monthly scan, and if your scan reflects a high-risk score, you will be notified.
  • Dedicated Fraud Specialist: Communicate with a dedicated fraud specialist assigned to manage your case and help you every step of the way until your identity is restored.

You can receive up to $300 of replacement or repair costs if your cell phone is stolen or damaged anywhere in the world. A $50 deductible applies, and you can only have up to two claims per 12-month period. This protection covers up to three phones on one cell bill, and you must use your Secure Checking account to pay the bill.

For all items purchased entirely with your Secure Checking account, you will receive the following coverage:

  • Buyers Protection1:Covers items for 90 days from the date of purchase against accidental breakage, fire, or theft.
  • Extended Warranty1: Extends the U.S. manufacturer’s original written warranty for up to one full year on most new retail purchases if the warranty is less than five years.

Miscellaneous Terms & Fees

A NSF (non sufficient funds) charge of $35.00 will apply to overdrafts created by check, in person withdrawals or any electronic means as applicable. (Includes ACH or Internet Transfers)

A $2.00 early closing fee will be imposed if the account is open less than six (6) months.

If the account is closed before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest.

At our discretion, the interest rate and annual percentage yield may change at any time – please contact us for available rates.

If account is not registered by the time the account cycles, the maintenance fee will apply.
